This past weekend I took a trip into the city to grab brunch with one of my good friends, little did I know that the place we’d be going to would be so cute! Maysville NYC is one of the cutest hidden gems in Chelsea. I had lived in the city for almost 4 years during my years at FIT and I had no clue that this place existed, boy have I been missing out!
If you’re in the city over the next few weeks and you happen to swing by for brunch, here are a few suggestions!
- Their hot apple cider is beyond delicious. I’m not a huge fan of bourbon but you can barely taste it – and honestly who doesn’t love a yummy hot apple cider in the fall?!
- I ended up getting the Chef’s Breakfast, which is a traditional breakfast with two fried eggs, sausage, potatoes and a biscuit – they give you a lot of food so you definitely won’t be leaving with an empty stomach!
- My friend ended up getting the Maysville Brunch which starts off with a choice of a Bloody Mary or a Old Grand Dad, then you get a small appetizer of monkey bread (which was ridiculously good), and for a final dish you get the option of Chef’s Breakfast or Traditional Grits – if you like grits, then I definitely suggest getting them!
